Membership Information
Membership with the National Australian White Sheep Society Limited provides the ability to operate as a registered Australian White stud, and the opportunity to become involved in a progressive breed society and contribute to the development and promotion of the Australian White breed in Australia.
To become a member of NAWSS you must own Australian White stud sheep and be actively involved in the management of the stud including running a breeding program and recording Australian White stud animals. The categories offered are Stud, Junior and School membership.
Members are required to pay an annual membership fee at the beginning of each membership year. At this time members are also required to submit information on their stud, including the number of stud ewes and the sires used for that year. This information is used to provide a snapshot of the use of Australian Whites in member flocks and to record the growth of the Australian White breed over time, for historical purposes.

Stud Membership
Stud membership is intended for breeders wishing to register purebred Australian White sheep. Stud members are bound by the NAWSS Constitution and Regulations and are entitled to full voting rights.
Stud members are issued with a three-letter Stud ID and a Stud Name.
$350 per year
Junior Membership
Junior Membership is applicable to any person under the age of 18 years breeding purebred Australian White sheep. Junior Members have full voting rights and are bound by the NAWSS Constitution and Regulations.
Junior member studs are issued with a three-letter Stud ID and Stud Name.
$110 per year
School Membership
All Schools wishing to register an Australian White sheep stud are eligible for School Membership. The School must appoint a person who will receive all correspondence and be responsible for the school stud.
School studs are issued with a three-letter Stud ID and a Stud Name.
$110 per year
On joining, new members will be required to pay a pro rata Annual Membership fee, dependent on the time of joining.
